Teak wood is tightly compressed making it ideal for indoor or outdoor use. When left raw or treated properly Teak wood is not known to rot or retain moisture. Teak wood in its natural state is grey, silver, pewter in tone.
Our Teak is polyurethane sprayed before shipping. Although teak wood pieces are sealed for protection, some features may NOT withstand outdoor elements and erode. Overtime polyurethane will chip and peel if sitting water, humidity, snow, sand, or any elements are introduced to the piece. Teak and polyurethane CAN be sanded down in the future after wear and revitalized with teak oil or polyurethane. After sanding you CAN refinish, stain, repaint the piece.
